Matt (and Carol + Adam) are in Santa Fe through Wednesday: Matt for bidnez; Carol + Adam for pleasure. Although Matt — with his movie-star good looks — manages to be the life of the party wherever he goes:
Needless to say, they are all totally smitten with our cool nights, low humidity, breathtaking vistas, and delicious food:
We even bribed him with beer so that he would come invited him to a 7000 BC meeting. He was so excited to meet all our new Santa Fe comic creator friends, and to check out their artwork:

So, what do you do when one of your friends has a cool art style, but gets bogged down writing stories? Well, if you're Bram, you take a bunch of his existing character designs, and you start writing a world for them. Part western, part post-apocalyptic, part sci-fi: New West.
Here's a random pinup I did of 2 of the characters (Ray and Paz) that I'm trying to decide if I want to ink or not:

Bram and Caleb are trying to get the 4-page series preview finished in time for, if not Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, then for SPACE next weekend.
