Artomatic!
Artomatic is a huge art gallery/convention thing that takes place for
a month beginning in mid-April more or less in our stomping grounds, Crystal City, VA (right by Arlington).
It is a volunteer-based art show that accepts all types of art and in turn asks those who wish to display to volunteer time running the event. Several DCC members have signed up to show their artwork including Krissy Downing, Michael Auger, and Malcom Jones.
This is the type of community-based art show that the DCC really likes to support. The group is now discussing having a "Gallery Opening Party" and we will also try to organize a new field trip where we can go as a group to check out all the different art.
