And now available in REVIEW!
Starting Next week, The D.C. Conspiracy will be reviewing small press and independent books in a segment called "Actus Reus, revealing the evidence".
I'm heading up the review section, but there's going to be a few other folks helping with the actual reviews. While part of me thinks that the one thing the web doesn't need is ANOTHER comic book review page, I also think that a lot of reviewers follow pop trends too closely, and it would be nice to have more objective critiques on art, writing, and production. I think that one of the great things that the Conspiracy offers to folks is an experienced perspective. We're putting our own books together while we're reading yours. We all have experience in comic book production (like myself, with almost 11 years in the printing/publishing industry) and I think that most times people new to comics could really use some information about the processes of comic book creation. Don't worry though, the content is important as well. Don't think I'll be picking apart a digest handbound book because it was run off on a copying machine.
