Man Visits New Mexico
Matt (and Carol + Adam) are in Santa Fe through Wednesday: Matt for bidnez; Carol + Adam for pleasure. Although Matt with his movie-star good looks manages to be the life of the party wherever he goes:
Needless to say, they are all totally smitten with our cool nights, low humidity, breathtaking vistas, and delicious food:
We even bribed him with beer so that he would come invited him to a 7000 BC meeting. He was so excited to meet all our new Santa Fe comic creator friends, and to check out their artwork:
Can't you just feel the excitement?

Jesus Christ - if I may say, what sets us apart from other comic groups is that we have a sexy-ass leader.
Have fun, guys, and stop trying to recruit Matt.

Sexy? Heh, right. ROCK 'N' ROLL? HELL, YEAH!
I had a great time meeting up with Bram and Monica. They are marvelous hosts. Just hanging with them and talking comics and art made me realize how much I miss them here in D.C.
Their group in S.F. is doing some really awesome stuff. What impressed me was the fact that everyone at the bar Sunday night (about a dozen folks) was an illustrator, and a good one at that! It may seem like I'm passing a stone in that photo but I'm actually concentrating on digesting some of the art pages and sketchbooks that were passed around. Really, really good stuff.
