The Hive #6 - The Neighborhood Part I

There's a new Hive up at Pop Culture Shock - this one starts with the announcement of a new anthology I'm putting together called POSTCARDS, a book that will be using the ideas discussed on The Hive for it's own funding, distribution and marketing. The article ultimately leads you the POSTCARDS Production Blog, which has more information on the book.

I hope this article isn't full of revelations. Honestly, I hope 90% of you read this and say, "Duh, obviously, why are you wasting my time?" As you can see by the title, this is only Part I of "The Neighborhood", and Part I starts, well, in your neighborhood.

Let me ask you a question -- what's the difference between the 70-year-old lady who lives next door to you, and a 70-year-old lady who lives three-thousand miles away?

Well, while neither of them gives a s--- about comics, the 70-year-old lady next door to you will buy yours.
