New Pencils
Hey gang,
This week has been a really good one for me, production wise. I managed to pencil almost 6 whole pages this week, and I'm really proud of the way it all turned out. I would say it's the best work I've done thus far. Anyway I wanted to share some of the work with you guys, especially since I haven't shared a whole lot in a while. So, here are 5 panels to confuse and titillate!
General Urlich can't believe what he's hearing...
Paige is happy to explain...
Sabastian has something to say...
The door knocker is full of surprises...
Christopher has arrived...

I love being able to see the pencil stage. It's like two different pieces, really, in the end...

titilated but not too confused. yeah, i really like seeing the more raw penciling work and would love to see a comic done purely in pencil, rough edges and all. keep up the good work!

thanks for all the kind words guys... Deb asked me at SPX what I thought my weakest point was as an artist, and I gotta say that question really made me think. Ultimately, I think my biggest shortcoming has been with pencilling and rendering. I think sometimes I go cheap on the pencils because I know I'll catch it up on the inks. Since then I've really tried to be more thorough on the pencils.
Anyway, thanks again for the kind words gang.
