Neat-o, Monica! It does lifteth the spirit when nice things are said about your work, doesn't it? Newsarama also did a great job with the layout--nice mix of text and graphics.

that is one fantastic review! Congrats guys! I especially like the comments made about the article on news-a-rama. Very funny debate over the term "indy comics". Regardless, it must be fun to read that someone really gets your book and appreciates it to boot.
RAWK ON!!

The discussion has the makings of an interesting debate over whether "superhero" * comics can be "indy." As we were discussing after SPX . . . it seems not. But I'd like to think that indy just means independently produced — and that it's a big enough term to encompass all kinds of stories.
* Yeah, I guess RBS is a superhero comic.

The great thing about your book, as well as others who frequent this site, is that I think you guys are stiving to put out a great comic, not a great genre comic. I get the impression that you don't really care whether you are considered "indy" or "mainstream". I certainly don't bother to care about that stuff with my own work. I think that's the kind of stuff that can water down your work if you're trying to pull to a specific crowd. Who cares where the flocking millions of readers come from, just so they come is enough to make me happy...
and really, aren't you normally really happy after discovering you've made millions come?
