Cover Art
hey gang,
Whilst you all were traversing the speedways of Pennsylvania, some of us were hard at work! I swear by all that's holy that We'll start publishing in 2006 and stop talking about it. Anyway, I did the cover illustration for the first issue of "The Alberic Heresies", the book I'm working on with fellow conspirator Jeff Barrus.
I wanted a non-comic book cover for our cover... something more "European" to show the serious nature of the story within. I thought I'd show you guys to see what you think....
So, what do you think?

What exactly is the (Alberic?) statue doing? It looks as if he is in shadow but is morphing into something on the other side? Just curious.
The composition is really appealing. You made great choices with the blacks, again! I envy this.

I totally dig it! awesome, moody feel.
one question: what's with the little "E"s inside the "O"s?

Especially this late in the comments, it'd be nice if I could add something more than just "wow."
It's making me curiouser and curiouser for the comics . . .

I can't tell what this is.
It doesn't make me want to pick it up.
