Cartoon Editor

Hey, folks

D.C.'s other alternative newspaper, the Washington Spark, is looking for a volunteer editor for its cartoon section. You'd pick which cartoons get in, hopefully pulling from local talent. The editors they've had so far have had no idea about comics and usually quit in a few weeks. Maybe we can find someone who can crank it up! The position requires about 2 hours per week (if that), but think of the power, the fame, the glory! If you're interested, e-mail: cartoons@washingtonspark.org

Speaking of the Spark, Deb's got a cartoon in the current issue. You can get a free copy at most D.C. bookstores or see it online at www.washingtonspark.org. The paper also plugged the D.C. Conspiracy and mentions that it hopes to feature its members' work in upcoming issues.
