Rawboned and Indy Magazine

I just posted this week's "Rawboned" and think it's one of my better one-hour comics. I like the composition and colors. (Remember to click on the image to read page 2!)

Do you read Indy Magazine? You should. It's an awesome online comics magazine. The new edition came out this week and it's all about Art Spiegelman, from "Breadowns," to "Raw," to "Maus." (Actually, the most interesting piece was about his wife, Francoise Mouly.)

Matt, the Indy Magazine that you pointed us to...is so full of stuff I want to read...it's going to take quite a while to read it....I went to read about Mouly first since I'm fascinated with her because she is the art editor of the New Yorker---and reading about Art and Francoise's long hard road to their current recognition...well, it's inspiring.

I'll have to go back later as a treat and read the rest, including Phoebe Gloeckner, who I like too.

Check you out with your computer coloring....that fish is be-yoot-if-ful. Also, I can see what you like about how you drew it. You didn't strictly adhere to realistic rendering, leaving some lines unconnected, and it WORKED.

Dude, that is one of your best rawboned comics yet. I can't believe you're putting them together in an hour. That's great production speed, and the art is still pretty snazzy.

Also, have you seen the "Comic Book Confidentials" film? Art is in it, talking about Maus, and Francoise is in it talking about Raw (and what a hard time she gave to their printer). I have a copy on VHS that was generously donated to me by a close friend (thanks AGAIN Jeff) and would gladly loan it to you if you'd want to check it out.
