More on Graphic Novels in Libraries

So here is the thread that began the other day, regarding the places we find graphic novels in libraries.

It's now gone outside of DC, to Montreal, PQ, with Max Douglas (Salgood Sam), Bram, and Em Lloyd (Delaware) adding their assessment of the library situation.

Max has a link that is in French, but you can use the right click on google to translate the page. It's still in library-ese, of which there is no translation.

People are grappling with the classification issue in terms of formalizing where to put graphic novels:

Thanks for the great resource. the 741 classification is a better catch-all since, as the papers on the site suggest, the common denominator is the art, not the content of the text.
